The course up this week is perfect for the level play of BAIRD...quigley is so irratic where as BAIRD is patient and this course one has to be patient and pick one's shots....they can't afford to be rushed...here is quigley's downfall and the value towards BAIRD.....

This tourney is a bad tourney....it is not a big one and most of the time, the lesser talented win...

If I recall correctly....MAYFAIR won last year...

This year though you have a HOT GOLFER coming in after the MASTERS that was actually happy about his round....not thrilled but happy...

He finished 3rd but overall, he was not like the rest of them that tanked....

Like els....

The reason this tourney is normally won by the lesser names is because it normally comes after the MASTERS and as you can expect, the majority of the higher end golfers are emotionally drained from that week....

NOT THIS YEAR....

MICK comes in actually ok with his performance...that can not be said about els...

You all saw it....it was a nightmare for him....

MICK is RED HOT....and playing actually consistent golf...

He runs els in this 1st Round Matchup !!

Mick by 4 strokes....I have Mick leading this tourney after tomorrow....

Ya just don't recover from an els kind of round in ONE SIMPLE WEEK !!!

Kinda feel guilt about this one.....

I mean...knowing golf you just can not recover from a HIGH STAKE MATCH like the MASTERS when you completely TANK and expect to come in to the next tourney and WIN or even play well...

 

I heard David Duval's game has gone to shit ever since he has been on that damn Atkins diet.. Chalk up another complaint on the Atkins diet!!lmfao!!

I said earlier that I thought Clarke would be up there at the end...and he has not dissappointed...

At -2...he played a solid as expected....

The course is playing nicely for him and I have him playing even better tomorrow and ending the day at -6....that is a -4 day for the math experts that lurk in the shadows...
